I grew up in the St. Lawrence river valley of upstate New York, where my first voice lesson was the echo inside our dairy farm’s grain silo. I went on to receive a BA in voice from SUNY Fredonia and a Master’s in vocal performance from Yale University.
After several years of teaching voice at Trinity College and Wesleyan University in Connecticut and performing in NYC, Boston and throughout New England, I moved to Denver and became a software engineer. A geek! I eventually came to my senses and in 2008 returned to my roots as a performer and teacher (two beautiful daughters later).
My performance venues in NYC and Denver have included Avery Fisher Hall, the Manhattan Theater Club, the Denver Civic Theater, the Candlelight Dinner Theatre in Loveland, Colorado, and Performance Now in Lakewood, Colorado, where I recently performed the role of Fagin in Oliver!
I now divide my time among my acting pursuits, including film and staged productions, musicals, singing, voice-over recording and voice teaching. Big Fish Talent Agency provides many of my commercial venues. The Silver Circuit also keeps me busy working with Ellen Ranson to entertain and teach seniors. Check out TheSilverCircuit.com for more details about what we do.
But my greatest love: enjoying the wonderful state of Colorado with my family!
